While the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 open beta is on, knowing its dates and times is crucial to determining how long you can play it across all platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Early access to the beta was granted from Oct. 2 to 4 for those who pre-ordered, have Game Pass subscriptions, or secured an early access beta key. The open beta will run longer and allow a bigger pool of players to test the waters before it officially launches in November.

You can play several new 6v6 multiplayer maps and game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Overload as a fresh objective mode. During the beta, you can unlock up to 30 levels and try out new weapons, perks, and gear. Having said that, here are the start and end dates and times for the BO7 open beta.

Black Ops 7 open beta start and end dates

The Black Ops 7 open beta started on Sunday, Oct. 5, and it will run for a few days before ending on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2025. Unlike the early access beta, this phase is open to all players on every platform without restrictions.

During this time, you can try out all the different multiplayer core maps, such as Blackheart, Toshin, The Forge, Cortex, Exposure, and Imprint. Zombies Survival on Vandorn Farm is also available during the beta.

Coming to the game modes, you can hop onto Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, and a new 6v6 mode called Overload.

Black Ops 7 open beta start and end times

The BO7 open beta started on Oct. 5 at 12am CT. While it was scheduled to end on Oct. 8 at the same time, Activision has allowed players to enjoy the beta longer, and the new end time is 9am PT on Oct. 9. Here are the end times according to different time zones:

  • 12pm ET (Eastern Time)
  • 5pm BST (British Summer Time)
  • 6pm CEST (Central European Summer Time)
  • 9:30pm IST (India Standard Time)
  • 12am SGT on Oct. 10 (Singapore Standard Time)
  • 1am JST on Oct. 10 (Japan Standard Time)
  • 3am AEDT on Oct. 10 (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)
