Black Ops 6 is set to launch in about two months, but gamers can add to their arsenals way ahead of time by watching the Call of Duty Next livestream and earn some free viewership drops that will be available in the game when it’s released in October.

Here’s everything you can get for free by watching CoD Next and how to get it all, including an exclusive weapon blueprint.

There are four total drops that everyone can earn simply by watching Call of Duty Next on Twitch or YouTube on Aug. 28:

  • “Tri-Harder” weapon charm
  • “Mine” emblem
  • “Earning Stripes” calling card
  • “The Redactor” assault rifle blueprint

All of these items will be available in Black Ops 6 when the game launches on Oct. 25.

How to get Call of Duty drops

There are a few quick steps you need to take to make sure you can earn viewership drops for Black Ops 6 while watching CoD Next, or even while watching the Call of Duty League or any other CoD stream on Twitch or YouTube.

  • Make sure you’re logged in to your account YouTube.
  • Visit YouTube’s account sharing page.
  • You will see a list of accounts for various games and services, like in the image below. Find “Activision ID” and click “Connect.”

  • Click “Continue.”
  • Log in to your Activision account. You can do this by using your PlayStation, Xbox, or Battle.net account, or whatever other account is linked to your Activision ID.
  • A new window will open and ask you to share your information with YouTube. Click the box and then the “Authorize” button.
  • If it worked, your accounts will be connected and you’ll be eligible to receive random drops while watching CoD streams on YouTube. Under the video player, it should say “Connected.”
  1. Create an Activision account here or just sign in if you have one already.
  2. Visit Twitch and click on “Sign Up” in the top right corner if you don’t own an account already. If you do, just sign in.
  3. Make sure you’re logged in to the Activision account you want to receive Twitch drops and link that account to your Twitch one through this webpage on the CoD site.
  4. Watch CoD Next on Twitch.tv/CallofDuty to receive Twitch drops. You’ll receive a Twitch notification for each drop reward you earn.
  5. Make sure to claim the drops from the Inventory page on Twitch before you can earn additional ones.

And that’s that. All that’s left is to tune in to CoD Next on Aug. 30 at 11am CT to secure the loot for yourself easily if you’ve done all of the steps above. Enjoy the free drops and get ready to load them up in multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone when BO6 hits consoles and PC later this fall.
