How to complete A First Foothold quest in ARC Raiders

After doing 18 runs in ARC Raiders, you unlock the Blue Gate map, a beautiful yet dangerous valley filled with ARC machines. Alongside the map, there’s also a new quest, A First Foothold, that takes you across multiple POIs on the map.

Observation deck near the Ridgeline

The first objective is on the east side of the Blue Gate. Right at the “Ridgeline” marker on the map, there’s an observation deck with a couple of cones and a chair. Come close to the deck and interact with the Stabilize Deck prompt. You can interact with two sides, but you only need one for the quest.

Comms terminal near Olive Grove

To find the terminal, head west from the Olive Grove. In the open, there’s a makeshift platform. On that platform, there’s a yellow glowing terminal you need to interact with. Interacting takes a bit of time, so make sure it’s safe before going for it.

Church north of the Data Vault

The church with the satellite dishes is on the far north side of the map. Head to the Data Vault and keep going north until you see a church on the rocky path. Climb up the church using the scaffolding outside and interact with the dishes.

Raider’s structure near Trapper’s Glade

The last one is on the west side of the map, near Trapper’s Glade. There’s a small stone hut right under the “s” in “Trapper’s” on the map. The same hut is displayed on the quest preview in the quests tab at Apollo.

Climb up on the roof using the red crate on the outside and interact with the prompt to nail it down. This completes the A First Foothold quest, so you can safely extract.
