How to find Prickly Pears in ARC Raiders

Try not to hurt yourself.

As you train Scrappy (or do anything else that requires fruits) in ARC Raiders, you’ll need to gather Prickly Pears. Much like the rest of the nature loot in the game, they can be hard to come by, and you also need a bit of luck to find them.

Prickly Pears appear next to cacti across all maps in ARC Raiders. Cacti usually are in clusters, and there’s a chance for you to find fruit on the ground near them. Unlike Lemons and Apricots, though, you can’t hit a cactus to get more drops—you can only rely on what’s already on the ground.

Here are some of the locations where you can find Prickly Pears:

  • Dam Battlegrounds: Near Red Lakes Hatch in the Red Lakes area.
  • Dam Battlegrounds: Near Raider Outpost East, north of the Power Generation Complex.
  • Dam Battlegrounds: At house ruins south of the road fork at Victory Ridge, on the northwest side of the map.
  • Buried City: On the south-most point of the map.
  • Buried City: Near the houses to the east of the previous location.
  • Buried City: Up on the san hills, east of Hospital.

On Dam Battlegrounds, you can take a route from the Red Lakes all the way to the Raider Outpost East on the north side. From there, follow the outskirts of the map until you reach Victory Ridge, where there’s another cluster of Cacti. Buried City has a similar approach, except you can start at the very south of the map and start exploring the map counter-clockwise.

Prickly Pears are much rarer than Lemons or Apricots because you can’t shake down trees, which is why you should take advantage of the Lush Blooms event whenever it’s active. Lush Blooms increases the amount of nature loot and spawns fruit baskets around the map that contain a bunch more fruits and plants.
