Apex Legends was released on Feb. 4 with eight total playable characters. But the smash-hit battle royale game might be getting some new Legends, according to recent leaks.

Twitter user Shrugtal posted a tweet yesterday that revealed two potential new Apex characters: Octane and Wattson. Shrugtal tweeted pictures of game files that list both of those names along with what appears to be audio clues or abilities for these potential Legends.

Another Twitter account, ApexLeaksNews, posted an image with the names of even more characters that could be added to the game down the road. In addition to Octane and Wattson, ApexLeaksNews also listed Crypto, Husaria, Jericho, Nomad, Prophet, Rampart, Rosie, and Skunner as potential Legends’ names.

Of course, all of these potential character names are unconfirmed at this time—and Respawn likely isn’t considering adding any new Legends to Apex so quickly after the game’s launch.

New characters will probably be added to Apex in the future, but we don’t think it’ll happen just yet. And if new Legends eventually join the game, fans will be curious to learn what type of abilities or tactics could be introduced.
