Capcom is entering the modern age of fighting games with the release of Street Fighter 6, and fans don’t have long to wait to get their hands on what looks to be the biggest game in the franchise’s history.
With as much focus on the single-player World Tour mode as the Battle Hub’s improved online options, SF6 will bring players plenty of content to sink their teeth into when it drops on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
Hype is already at max levels thanks to Capcom’s frequent showcases of gameplay, characters, and other features that will be included in the game. This includes the Street Fighter 6 demo that is already available ahead of the new game’s official release.
What is Street Fighter 6’s release date?
Street Fighter will officially launch for all of its confirmed platforms on June 2. This will be the global release for the game and include every feature shown in Capcom’s various gameplay showcases in the World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub.

There is even more content that will be included in the game that we haven’t seen yet. That should fall into areas like the in-game avatar shop in the Battle Hub, which will feature exclusive items to customize your characters, and maybe some other surprises.
Not only do we know the release date for the game, but we also already have information about the first year of DLC—which will see the introduction of four additional characters and more content too.
