MTG Kaldheim cards worth money

KHM cards continue to pack value following Standard rotation and the Innistrad releases.

Kaldheim is a Magic: The Gathering Standard-legal set that’s packed with several valuable cards.

Containing a total of 285 cards, Kaldheim (KHM) is a Viking-themed, Norse-inspired set. Tribal decks like Deathtouch and Elves were possible in the Standard and Limited formats with the launch of KHM. And many legendary creatures within the set have provided solid cards for Commander players. Returning mechanics include Snow and Changeling, along with new ones like Foretell and Boast.

The release of ONE brought a focus back to the infamous Phyrexian Praetors and with the upcoming launch of March of the Machine (MOM), the plane of Kaldheim as well. Since the start of 2023, prices for some KHM cards have been on the rise but have since leveled out.

All the most expensive MTG Kaldheim cards

All secondary market KHM card prices are subject to change and will get updated when major changes have taken place. From Gods and Dragons to a Phyrexian Praetor, here are the KHM cards worth money, according to MTGGoldfish and MTGStocks.

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider

Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider

Rated as one of the most potent KHM cards, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider has established itself as a Phyrexian Preator to watch out for in the Commander format. The Praetor saw a significant price spike in Feb. which has since settled into a new overall secondary market price.

  • Phyrexian foil: $105 to $115
  • Showcase foil: $90 to $110
  • Prerelease foil: $80 to $85
  • Showcase non-foil: $70
  • Foil: $65 to $70
  • Regular: $64 to $68

Goldspan Dragon is fun to play in the Standard format—and it’s powerful, too. Arguably one of the best-designed KHM cards, the dragon found a home in other Magic formats like Commander, Historic, and Brawl. Most variants of Goldspan Dragon, however, dropped significantly heading into 2023.

  • Extended art foil: $30 to $35
  • Prerelease foil: $37 to $40
  • Extended non-foil: $26
  • Foil: $18 to $20
  • Regular: $ 12 to $14

Valki, God of Lies

Valki, God of Lies is a Modal Double-Faced card with Tibalt, Cosmic Impostor on its backside. Valki immediately found a home in one of the most potent Standard Constructed decks prior to the 2021 Standard rotation, Dimir Rogues. The God of Lies has also seen solid amounts of gameplay in other Magic formats like Commander, Modern, and Pioneer.

  • Borderless foil: $17 to $25
  • Showcase foil: $17 to $25
  • Prerelease foil: $13 to $15
  • Foil: $8 to $9
  • Regular: $7 to $8

Commander has become one of the most popular Magic formats to play in, and the format has helped maintain the value of Esika, God of the Tree, since the release of KHM. And the legendary God is also making another appearance in the March of the Machine set.

  • Prerelease foil: $50 to $55
  • Showcase foil: $27 to $35
  • Foil: $20 to $23
  • Regular: $16 to $18

Orvar, the All-Form

Orvar, the All-Form had a huge spike in value at the start of 2022 that carried into 2023 before the shapeshifter leveled out in price. Players often see the shapeshifter played in the Modern format, along with some Commander as well.

  • Planeswalker stamp foil: $40 to $45
  • Prerelease foil: $20
  • Showcase foil: $27 to $30
  • Foil: $17

Koma, Cosmos Serpent flew under the radar at the launch of KHM. Slotted in as a sideboard card within Sultai Ultimatum decks at the Kaldheim Championship, the Legendary Serpent rose in value to around $15 for its regular version in 2022. It then dropped significantly but has been a slight increase since the start of 2023.

  • Prerelease foil: $15 to $17
  • Showcase foil: $18 to $22
  • Foil: $13
  • Regular: $11 to $12

The legendary squirrel, Toski, Bearer of Secrets, spiked in price after its KHM release to around $10. It then fell dramatically to around $2 several weeks later. Since then, it’s slowly been on the rebound, getting played in Commander builds like Chatterfang.

  • Prerelease foil: $18 to $22
  • Showcase foil: $13 to 15
  • Planeswalker stamp foil: $15 to $18
  • Foil: $13
