Xbox Game Pass August 2024 leak suggests beloved platformer trilogy will make its way to subscription service

August is packed full of new Game Pass releases.

Reputable leaker eXtas1s, who’s previously nailed several Game Pass release dates, recently shared more titles that are expected to drop on Microsoft’s subscription service. Several games will soon be available to Game Pass users, according to the leak, including the beloved Crash N.Sane trilogy published by Activision.

The leaker named all of the upcoming Game Pass titles in a July 29 video. The titles include last year’s Atlas Fallen RPG, which is set to reach the service’s shelves on Aug. 13, Mafia: Definitive Edition, which had its Game Pass release officially confirmed, and the stellar remastered Crash N.Sane trilogy, which will come to the service on Aug. 8, according to the leak. The trilogy, in particular, is what many fans have hoped for, and it will certainly add a lot of value to the subscription service following its recent price hike.

These are not the only games with a release date that extas1s named. On Aug. 6, players will also have the opportunity to try out SOPA – Tale of the Stolen Potato, whose release date hasn’t been announced at time of writing. The following days and weeks, too, are packed with potential new Game Pass titles, including Creatures of Ava (Aug. 7), Wargroove 2 (Aug. 15), and Core Keeper (Aug. 27). It seems like August could be a great month for players enjoying the Game Pass service, according to the leak.

Microsoft stepped in to reformulate how Game Pass works and is accessed by players through new tiers and prices but seemingly hasn’t slowed down regarding new titles. The service is in much need of extra value that Call of Duty alone can’t cover, and many gamers will likely be happy to see more and more titles make it over to Game Pass, regardless of whether they stick around for a long time.
