Bosses in Fortnite provide unique loot that can be a game-changer during a match and push you towards a valuable win. They are, however, available for anyone to challenge, so there’s often a race to beat them.

If you are progressing through the challenges introduced every few days during the Pirates of the Caribbean event, you must defeat a boss. With all the NPCs on the map, this can be confusing, but we’ll tell you exactly where to go.

There are three bosses you can face in Fortnite chapter five, season three to complete the quest in the Cursed Sails event. We’ve listed their names and static locations below, which are also marked on the map above.

You can also click each boss’s name to see our dedicated guides on how to defeat them.

While Ringmaster Scarr’s location is permanently fixed, Megalo Don and The Machinist may not be at their static locations. In every game, one of the pair drives around the map in a convoy, providing a different challenge to defeat them.

To find any boss who is traveling across the map, look for Medallion markers. These mark the location of a boss. If they’re not on the map, it means another player has already defeated them.
