Defiant Dr Disrespect teases streaming return tomorrow after 2-month ‘vacation’

Will he further address the controversy around inappropriately messaging a minor?

A two-month hiatus from livestreaming is seemingly set to come to an end tomorrow for Dr Disrespect, although no one knows where he’ll be going live.

In a Twitter/X video titled “Showtime” shared today, the Doc drives a speedboat aggressively while stroking his mustache, arriving at “The Arena,” the nickname for his stream and audience, on an island at the end of the video. “Tomorrow,” the video teases at the very end.

The streamer has gotten increasingly flippant and dismissive of his public perception after admitting to inappropriately messaging a minor on Twitch several years ago, leading to his ban from the platform. That attitude continued in a reply to his new video.

“WHeRe’s He CoMinG from, Epstein iSlAnd?” he said, mocking his critics. “iTs a pDf nOt a DoC hE BloCkEd mE, leT Me TaKe a ScReEnsHot aNd PosT.”

Doc’s actions were condemned by fellow streamers and friends like TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS, who attempted to distance themselves from the news, especially after a Rolling Stone report claimed Doc knew the minor was underage but saw it as “no problem.”

The streamer was live on YouTube on June 25 when he said he’d be taking a vacation because he was “burnt out,” minutes after news of his dismissal from game studio Midnight Society broke. He has since been stripped of monetization on that platform and is still banned on Twitch, so it’s unknown where he may be streaming.

In previous social media posts since beginning his hiatus, he’s teased that he has been playing chess while his opposition plays checkers, said that “streaming video games” is “a snoozefest,” and deleted his lengthy admission along with another cryptic post.

The return stream is sure to get plenty of viewership no matter where he goes live as countless viewers will want to know what the Doc has to say about his extended break and if he’ll address the controversy further.
