All Rust Twitch drops and how to get them

Free loot for a limited time.

Twitch is offering free Rust drops again this week, but you have a limited time to collect the handful of items.

The Base Invaders Rust event in Twitch Rivals kicked off on Sept. 10, bringing six collectible items for viewers tuning into the streams. Base Invaders concluded on the same day, with two items now unavailable as drops, though you can still earn four skins—if you hurry.

With that in mind, here are all the Rust Twitch drops and how to claim them.

You can earn four rewards by watching any Rust stream with drops enabled on Twitch until 8pm CT on Sunday, Sept. 15

It takes four hours of viewing to earn all the rewards, with each drop unlocking after one hour. Here are all the Rust Twitch drops:

  • Wood Storage Box skin: Unlocks after the first hour.
  • Furnace skin: Unlocks after the second hour.
  • Sheet Metal Double Door skin: Unlocks after the third hour.
  • SAR skin: Unlocks after the fourth hour.

All the Rust Twitch drops available follow a purple theme, similar to the streaming platform’s color design. You can also spot the name Twitch Rivals engraved in three of these skins, with the door skin rocking the name of the Rust event—Base Invaders.

Two more cosmetics (a Twitch Rivals hoodie and pants) were also available on the day the event went live. But, with Base Invaders ending, the drops in question are no longer claimable. Don’t worry, though, Twitch Rivals hosts Rust streamer showdowns every few months, so you’ll likely have an opportunity to claim new rewards again.

How to claim Rust Twitch drops

You must connect your Steam and Twitch accounts to claim drops. The rewards available now unlock by watching any stream with drops enabled on the platform, so you must tune into a stream with a title specifying you can unlock drops here.

To connect your account for Rust Twitch drops, follow these steps:

  1. Head to Twitch’s official website for Rust drops.
  2. Scroll down to log into your Twitch and then Steam account.
  3. Press the Activate Drops button in the final step to enable Twitch drops successfully.
  4. Start watching a participating stream.

Twitch automatically tracks your drop progress with a small bar below every reward on the platform’s inventory section. You’ll get a notification on your Twitch account when you hit a particular reward’s goal watch time.
