You need to speak to NPC “Q3” in Sakura Stand, complete his quest, defeat two difficult bosses, and tick off a final questline to charge up the Red Mist Spec.

1. Head to “Park 2” and look for the dancing NPC “Q3”—you can’t miss them dancing next to a wall in the area.
2. Q3 tells you to fill up a percentage meter, which needs to reach 100 percent.
3. To do this, kill Hollows.
4. This is believed to be the rate at which enemies contribute to the overall bar:
   • Fishbones & Frog Hollows = One percent
   • Menos Grande = Three percent
   • Adjucha = Four percent
5. The whole server counts toward the bar’s completion too, but if you leave the server, it resets the progress—so stay and fight until this is done.
6. When you are finished, speak to Q3 again, and they’ll tell you the location of the boss portal.
7. Enter, and it’s time to fight an incredibly tough boss—Mimicry.
8. Defeat it, and after a cut scene, you now need to fight the Red Mist boss.
9. Now, it’s recommended you do this solo, if possible, as the Red Mist Spec doesn’t seem to be a guaranteed drop, and if you defeat it with other players, there’s only one drop.
10. If beat the Red Mist boss and get the spec, equip it, go into the “Dark Alley,” and make your way to the end to find an NPC you need to speak to.
11. This begins the questline to upgrade the Red Mist Spec, and you need to complete four objectives:
    • Defeat The Black Silence with The Red Mist — 0/1
    • Kill Curses with The Red Mist — 0/15
    • Kill Hollows with The Red Mist — 0/15
    • Kill Players with The Red Mist — 0/15
12. Complete the missions above and return to the NPC in the Dark Alley to receive the upgrade and final-form Red Mist.
