After yesterday’s easy Vi quote, I was expecting today’s LoLdle quote to pack a punch. And it didn’t disappoint. As soon as I read this quote, I knew it had to be a League champion who wields a spear, and the only one I could think of was Kalista. I was also contemplating Nidalee because she has a spear-like weapon, but I wasn’t 100 percent certain of what it was called. So, I went with my instincts and chose Kalista. Thankfully, I was right!
Truthfully, I know little about Kalista, so I had to do some research to find out when she says this quote, and what’s interesting about it is that she says it while buying Last Whisper. As it turns out, Kalista is known as the Spear of Vengeance, and she uses her Q, Pierce, to throw spears at her enemies, and even her ability, Rend (E), allows her to impale her targets with spears. She certainly has a few spear abilities up her sleeves, and this item will help her spears mitigate an enemy champion’s armor.
While this quote is quite interesting, Kalista’s interest in the Rift is next to nothing, as she has an appalling win rate of 47.46 percent, according to the League stat tracker, U.GG. Seeing as she doesn’t have any direct buffs in Patch 14.17, we likely won’t be seeing Kalista on the Rift any time soon. So, if you’re looking to play a high-performing AD carry, try Jhin or Miss Fortune.
Today’s LoLdle quote wasn’t as tough as I was hoping for it to be. Let’s hope tomorrow’s is next to impossible to solve.
