Soulja Boy is “working on” making Fortnite playable on his next console

This doesn't seem likely, though.

Soulja Boy has been busy in the gaming community lately—mainly due to his recent developments as a video game console entrepreneur. But the American rapper revealed some shocking news in a recent interview with Complex.

Soulja Boy claimed that Fortnite will be playable on his next console. We don’t know how this will work, but when he was asked if the popular battle royale game would be featured on the Soulja Console, the rapper claimed that it will be on a future device.

“Yes, we’re working on it,” Soulja Boy said. “Not this one, on the next one you can [play Fortnite].”

It’s unclear when Soulja Boy’s next console will become available—or how he’ll manage to work out a deal with Epic Games to get Fortnite on the device.

Soulja Boy’s time as a console entrepreneur hasn’t been easy, either. He was forced to remove his consoles from his online store in fear of an impending lawsuit in December due to similarities with Nintendo devices. He admitted that he had to “boss up” to Nintendo’s demands—but even that didn’t stop him from coming out with another console last week that seems eerily similar to the PSP.

In addition to consoles, Soulja Boy also has the SouljaPad tablet, the SouljaPod earphones, the SouljaWatch, and the SouljaPhone HT70 on his website. But it remains to be seen when his next console will be released and if Fortnite will truly be playable on it.
