Rose god roll and best perks in Destiny 2

Dominate with ease.

While you might feel that you need to grind Destiny 2 for hours to have a competent PvP loadout (looking at you, Conditional Finality), you can get your hands on plenty of incredible weapons fast, including Rose.

Rose is a 140 RPM Lightweight Frame hand cannon you likely encountered multiple times in PvP. It can dominate the Crucible or Trials of Osiris with the right setup, but most importantly, it’s easy to get and farm.

Here are our Rose god rolls for PvE and PvP in Destiny 2.

Rose PvP god roll

  • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Perk one: Slideshot or Rapid Hit
  • Perk two: Explosive Payload
  • Grip: Textured Grip
  • Masterwork: Range

Rose PvE god roll

  • Barrel: Smallbore
  • Magazine: Appended Mag
  • Perk one: Rapid Hit
  • Perk two: Explosive Payload
  • Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Masterwork: Range

Rose is one of the most used weapons in Crucible and is primarily a PvP weapon. The roll you see everyone using is Slideshot and Explosive Payload. Slideshot reloads your weapon when sliding and grants increased range.

With the right setup and Slideshot, you can consistently have 93 Range on your Rose in a gunfight. But you must implement sliding in your playstyle, which may not be for everyone. If sliding isn’t your thing, you can go for Rapid Hit instead to get extra Reload Speed and Stability during a fight.

The best perk in the second column is Explosive Payload. While there are other decent PvP perks, including Eye of the Storm and Opening Shot, nothing beats extra chip damage that can finish an opposing Guardian.

In PvE, Rose isn’t the best option by a long shot. You can use many alternatives, from Fatebringer to Midnight Coup, so I highly recommend getting one of those as your Kinetic hand cannon. If Rose is all you have now, Rapid Hit and Explosive Payload is still a way to go. The main difference between PvP and PvE rolls is barrel and magazine.
