Swedish organization GODSENT has transferred its entire Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster to another Swedish team: Red Reserve.

GODSENT, which has been part of the RFRSH stable of CS:GO teams, has had a tumultuous time in the game. In 2016 they acquired the former Fnatic trio of Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson, Jesper "JW" Wecksell, and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist and managed a few decent placings, but the lineup never took. KRIMZ ended up going back to Fnatic after just two months, with the other two following four months after that.

Following the Fnatic swap, GODSENT tried to build its own lineup of Swedish stars led by Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun and Simon "twist" Eliasson, but results still failed to materialize. The team's most recent appearance saw them lose to Hellraisers in the semifinals of DreamHack Tours.

Now the quintet of disco doplan, twist, Fredrik "freddieb" Buö, Hampus "hampus" Poser, and Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin will continue under a new banner. Red Reserve first entered CS:GO in February 2017 with a lineup that included Brazil's Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe. They soon focused on European players, even signing Mikail "Maikelele" Bill for a time from Team Dignitas. The organization's best result was second place at DreamHack Valencia last year.

The newly minted Red Reserve team will make their debut in the jersey this weekend at DreamHack Summer. With most top teams not attending, top competition will come from the likes of North and Gambit Esports, and Red Reserve will hope for a good showing from its new roster.
