Counter-Strike 2 fans were treated to something special when 10 of the game’s biggest stars faced off in what organizers called “The Most Stacked CS2 PUG of All Time.”
The FACEIT-hosted showmatch brought together an incredible roster with kyousuke, ZywOo, donk, frozen, and Wicadia on one side, against m0NESY, NiKo, ropz, b1t, and Senzu on the other. The response from the CS2 community was overwhelmingly positive. One viewer on YouTube summed it up perfectly: “lowkey the best show match I have seen.. stacked teams, they played serious CS but it was still fun and great vibes.”

Another long-time fan echoed that sentiment, saying, “I’ve been watching CS for about 6 years, and all this time I’ve wondered why they don’t hold an All-Star match like in the NBA or NHL. Finally, at least something like that!” The excitement of seeing top-tier pros on the same side was best captured by a fan who wrote, “Watching donk and zywoo in the same team feels like watching Messi and Ronaldo in the same team.”
Reddit users on r/GlobalOffensive also celebrated the showmatch’s high-quality production and format. One praised the setup with, “Big W, ESL production,” while another compared it to sports showcases: “It’s like an all-star game, except nobody is afraid of getting injured, so nobody is just going through the motions. This should be a regular thing.”
Communication between elite players impressed viewers, too. As one Redditor put it, “My takeaway from this was how good zywoo, donk, and monesy comms were. Makes sense, you can’t get to the top of the game without having great comms.”
The captains, m0NESY and kyousuke, were chosen based on their FACEIT ELO ratings, with a schoolyard-style draft to decide teams. After a standard veto that left Mirage as the final map, both sides battled under true competitive FACEIT conditions with real ELO on the line and no one holding back.
The match showcased world-class mechanics, sharp tactical play, and the kind of personality fans rarely get to see in official tournaments. As one viewer put it best, “This was so good, need to do this every EPL.” The overwhelming fan reaction across Reddit and YouTube shows there’s real demand for more all-star style CS2 events, combining professional intensity with pure community-driven entertainment.
