Call of Duty: WWII is set to be released on Nov. 3, 2017. But before that, there will be a private beta—and it’s just around the corner.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Call of Duty: WWII private beta.

How do I get a code for the Call of Duty: WWII private beta?

Anyone who pre-orders Call of Duty: WWII for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will receive a code for the private beta.

If you pre-order the game from a participating retailer, you will receive a 13-character private beta access code. If you pre-order Call of Duty: WWII through the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Live Store, however, you don’t even need a code for the private beta. Your account on these consoles will automatically be validated to play the WWII private beta, once you’ve downloaded it.

When does the Call of Duty: WWII private beta start, and which platforms can you play it on?

The private beta will be available first on PlayStation 4 from Aug. 25 to 28. The beta will then be available on both PS4 and Xbox One from Sept. 1 to 4. The WWII private beta will not be available on PC.

How do I redeem my code for the Call of Duty: WWII private beta?

If you pre-order WWII from a participating retailer instead of digitally on the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Live Store, you will receive a 13-character access code for the private beta. The beta code will most likely be printed on your retail receipt or emailed to you after you’ve successfully pre-ordered WWII.

Once you have redeemed your code on the Call of Duty website, you’ll receive a private beta token via email just before the beta begins.

You will, however, need to log in to your Call of Duty account to enter your private beta access code—but if you don’t have an account, you can create one for free. Once you’ve made your account, just enter your private beta access code, and wait to receive your email with a private beta token.

If you have any issues redeeming your private beta access code, you can visit the WWII beta FAQ page. You can also check out some of the weapons, scorestreaks, and maps that might be available in the private beta on the WWII multiplayer page.

And so, the countdown begins—Call of Duty fans will get their first chance to play WWII faster than they can say “boots-on-the-ground.”
