The newest team in the Call of Duty World League Global Pro League made a statement by going 2-0 on the first day of Group Blue action in Columbus, Ohio.
Ghost Gaming—Michael “SpaceLy” Schmale, Andres Lacefield, Chance “Maux” Moncivaez, and Devin “LlamaGod” Tran—took down FaZe Clan and Elevate to start their pro league campaign on Friday night.

SpaceLy and crew began with an impressive 3-1 victory over the new FaZe Clan roster, with Peirce “Gunless” Hillman making his debut on that team. Ghost started the series with a 250-235 win on Retaliation Hardpoint, but FaZe responded with a 6-4 victory on Throwback Search and Destroy.
But Ghost continued to look strong in the respawn game modes, winning Frost Uplink 11-4 and Breakout Hardpoint 250-244 to earn the 3-1 series victory over FaZe. Maux lit up the scoreboard on Breakout, dropping 43 kills to lead Ghost in their first pro league match.
Ghost then carried the momentum from their big win over FaZe into their matchup against Elevate as they swept the Europeans. Elevate got absolutely crushed, with Ghost winning 250-75 on Breakout Hardpoint, 6-1 on Throwback Search and Destroy, and 17-3 on Precinct Uplink.
Elevate also got swept in the first match of the day against Enigma6. E6 dominated the Europeans by taking Retaliation Hardpoint 250-119, Throwback Search and Destroy 6-1, and Frost Uplink 6-5.
Although E6 took care of business against Elevate, they struggled against FaZe Clan, getting swept in the final match on Friday night. FaZe kicked off the series with an impressive 250-129 win on Breakout Hardpoint, followed up by a 6-3 victory on Throwback Search and Destroy and a 10-8 win on Precinct Uplink.
With this 3-0 victory, FaZe Clan is just barely ahead of E6 in the standings after one day of action. Ghost Gaming sit at the top at 2-0, while FaZe and E6 are both 1-1—but FaZe has a 4-3 map count compared to E6’s 3-3 record. Elevate is at the bottom of the standings at 0-2 after they didn’t win a single map on Friday.
Group Blue action will resume Saturday (July 8) when FaZe Clan squares off against Elevate at 2pm ET.
