Becoming a musician in BitLife requires patience, practice, and hard work. Start the life off with a Special Talent in Music and increase their stats to 100% across the board. High stats in Looks and Karma will be particularly helpful when they become a musician and want to achieve fame.

From an early age, your character must get involved with music or singing, join clubs, and practice their chosen instrument as often as possible. Make sure you practice a couple of times a year before you age up.

From high school onwards, your character must join a club at school, such as the Orchestra. Put in as much effort as you can each year until your character is offered the top position in that club. Once you leave school, you should get a job straight away to pay for your music lessons. Any job will do, as long as it pays enough to cover yearly lessons.

Each year, take the lessons and practice as much as you can in your spare time. Keep doing this until the green bar is almost full. When it reaches 70-80% full, you will have a good chance of being accepted by a band or record label.

Getting signed as a solo musician is easier, but you can focus on finding a local band to take you on, too. Getting signed may take some time, so keep practising and apply for the job every time you age up. Eventually, you will be signed to a record label and be able to do everything a professional musician does:

  • Make an album
  • Put on a concert
  • Practice your instrument
  • Record a single
  • Adopt a stage name
  • Go on a world tour.

Now you are a famous musician, why not try your hand at other BitLife careers, such as a baseball player or an exotic dancer?
