What are S ranks?
Here’s where Battlefield 2042 takes progression to the next level. Once you cap out at Level 99, the grind doesn’t end; you unlock the game’s unique S-Level system, which keeps the ranking journey alive well beyond the traditional limits.
From that point on, your next milestone becomes S001, and the system stretches all the way to S999. When you combine these with the standard ranks, BF2042 offers a massive 1,098 levels in total, giving you plenty of reason to keep pushing your skills and racking up XP.
Are there any rewards for unlocking S ranks?
No, unlike the standard rank levels, there are no rewards for unlocking S rank levels in BF2042. S ranks are all about prestige rather than progression. Once you move past the standard 1-99 ranks, don’t expect shiny new weapons, gear, or gameplay-changing rewards.
