MIBR announced today that Ricardo “boltz” Prass is no longer a part of the Immortals organization.

The organization released boltz from his contract, making him a free agent for any prospective teams wanting to sign him. This ends his two-year tenure with Immortals, where he essentially made a name for himself at the top of CS:GO.

Boltz has been on the MIBR bench for about five months after he was removed from the roster in July. Before his move to the bench, he was an instrumental part in MIBR’s success and dominance (under SK Gaming) toward the end of 2017.

His replacement was Tarik Celik, a former Cloud9 star who reunited with his former teammate Jake “Stewie2k” Yip. Since the change involving boltz, MIBR has had its ups and downs, but they’re beginning to improve massively—as seen in their second-place finish at the ECS Season Six Finals last week.

“I worked hard and at my best to achieve great things for the them and for us,” boltz said on Twitter. “With many ups and downs and [my] head high, I leave the organization today with lots of learnings throughout this journey, not only as a player but also as an individual and professional.”

Possible Brazilian teams that’d likely want to field boltz include Luminosity Gaming and INTZ Esports. If he joins Luminosity, he’d be reuniting with his former Immortals teammates Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles, Henrique “HEN1” Teles, and Lucas “steel” Lopes. They placed second at the PGL Krakow Major in 2017, alongside the infamous INTZ star Vito “kNg” Giuseppe.
