Fnatic confirms the departure of Caps

Fnatic is now looking for a new mid laner.

Mid laner Rasmus “Caps” Winther has officially left Fnatic after a fantastic year, the organization announced today.

“I have made the decision to move because I want to make the very most out of life,” Caps said. “Right now, I see myself doing that elsewhere.”

This news leaves Fnatic without a mid laner on its current roster. Fnatic has not yet confirmed who will replace Caps moving into the 2019 season.

Although there’s been no official announcement thus far on where Caps is headed, earlier reports suggest that he’s set to join G2 Esports as its new mid laner, while G2’s current mid laner, Luka “PerkZ” Perković, would become the team’s ADC. Other reports suggest that former Misfits support Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle will be joining G2 as Perkz’s bot lane duo.

Until Caps announces his new team, however, anything is possible.
