Wordle is a game that quickly became very successful and a large part of this is due to its ease and incentive to share results on social networks.

It didn’t take long for many other games to emerge altering Wordle’s original formula in some way, from the subtlest to the most complex.

Wordle Unlimited is the closest version to the original, the big difference is that players can play as many times as they want, after all, it’s unlimited. The rules are the same and so are the game modes, but each retry selects a random word from the list of possible answers.

Dordle, Quordle, and others of this style are slightly bolder versions. The rules are similar, but players here need to guess more than one word at the same time and use the same guesses for both. The number of attempts is increased according to how many words players need to guess and it is also possible to play more than once a day.

There are also versions that appeal to the theme and many leave the lyrics aside. As is the case with Nerdle, which uses numbers and signs for players to guess working mathematical formulas. Squirdle was made for Pokemon fans and players need to guess which secret creature is by guessing its type, generation, size, and weight. Gamedle is a version that shows parts of a game skin. Your players need to guess a game and the clues are the genres and platforms. With each failure, more of the image is revealed.

Heardle is an honorable mention as it is no longer accessible after being acquired by Spotify. Players needed to guess songs based on short snippets.
