Overwatch’s new map, Rialto, will hit the public test sever in two weeks, at most.
Game director Jeff Kaplan wrote on the Overwatch forum that the player vs. player version of the new event map will be on the PTR “in a week or two.” Players can try out the new map as part of the Overwatch Retribution brawl right now, however.

Overwatch Archives went live this afternoon, adding a new playable element to the game. The new co-op event pits Moira, McCree, Reaper, and Genji against a barrage of Talon units. The Blackwatch group is tasked with capturing a Talon boss, and things don’t go exactly to plan. It all goes down in a new setting, the Talon headquarters in Venice. Overwatch Retribution takes to the streets of Venice at night, but the new payload map will be set in daylight.
Kaplan also mentioned that the anticipated Hanzo rework is still on schedule for an April launch on the PTR, but he’s not sure of the exact timeline. Scatter Shot will be replaced by an ability tentatively called Rapid Shot, which speeds up Hanzo’s arrows. Blizzard has kept the exact details of the new ability under wraps, however.
But there’s plenty to do in Overwatch while you wait for these new additions. There are a ton of new skins to unlock from loot boxes earned by playing the new event and the returning event. Players have until April 30 to play the Overwatch Archives event.
