MTG Duskmourn most expensive cards – Prerelease prices

The official Magic: The Gathering preview season for Duskmourn: House of Horrors has ended, showcasing a handful of top-priced card variants.

Wizards of the Coast stepped away from serialized variants for Duskmourn: House of Horrors, focusing instead on Japanese full-art variants with a fractured foil treatment. Other variants in Play and Collector boosters include full-art Manor Lands, Double Exposure textured foil, and Mirror Monster borderless cards. Exclusive to the Nightbare bundle is one of three Movie Poster borderless cards and three double-sided Movie Poster cards.

Leading up to Prerelease weekend on Sept. 20, a handful of Duskmourn cards were priced at around $100. But after that, it’s a steep drop down, with most cards priced between $10 and $30.

Some card variants don’t have a market price at time of writing, and card prices are subject to change. Prices are monitored and will officially be updated with the digital launch of Duskmourn: House of Horrors on Sept. 24. Prices are an average from sites like echomtg, MTG Goldfish, and TCGPlayer. Here are the Prerelease MTG Duskmourn card prices so far.

Valgavoth, Terror Eater most expensive DSK cards

The most expensive MTG Duskmourn card at time of writing is Valgavoth, Terror Eater with a Double Exposure textured foil treatment. A few copies have appeared so far and are priced at around $275.

Overlord of the Hauntwoods most expensive DSK cards

Overlord of the Hauntwoods is perhaps one of the most hyped Duskmourn cards. Due to the rarity of fractured foil Japanese Showcase variants, top prices are just under $100.

Enduring Curiosity most expensive DSK cards

Japanese Showcase fractured foil variants are very hard to pull and exclusive to Collector booster packs. Enduring Curiosity may have potential in some MTG formats, but it’s too early to tell.

Enduring Tenacity most expensive DSK cards

Enduring Tenacity could slot nicely into a variety of Commander decks. Expect the card to perform well in Commander and possibly in Standard, too.

Doomsday Excruciator most expensive DSK cards

Doomsday Excruciator is mostly a Commander card that may see some play in Mono-Black Standard. The Demon’s Mirror Monster borderless variant is its most expensive.

Screaming Nemesis most expensive DSK cards

Screaming Nemesis is another Mirror Monster borderless variant worth some money. The spirit is another card slotting into Commander decks with a chance to perform in other MTG formats.

Meathook Massacre II most expensive DSK cards

Expanding the realms of what a Meathook Massacre looks like in Duskmourn, this Legendary Enchantment has potential.

Of all the cards I’m excited to try out, The Wandering Rescuer is at the top of the list.
