How to get Sparkle Skull skin in Fortnite

It's so sparkly.

The massive number of skins you can choose from in Fortnite is easily one of the game’s coolest features. It’s even better that this includes both collaboration designs and Fortnite originals like the Sparkle Skull skin.

The process for obtaining skins looks different depending on when and how they’re released. Some skins are available through the battle pass, some are exclusive offers only available for a limited time like The Paradigm, and some are only in the shop. This can make figuring out how to get the one you’re after tricky, so here’s how to get the Sparkle Skull skin in Fortnite.

The Sparkle Skull skin can only be obtained by purchasing it from the shop for V-Bucks. It’s never appeared in any free event or battle pass, which means it’s a shop-exclusive item.

Fortnite Sparkle Skull skin price

The Sparkle Skull skin costs 1,200 V-Bucks and includes just the skin and a LEGO version. It doesn’t come with any Back Blings, Pickaxes, or other accessories. You do get two different LEGO Fortnite styles, though, including one based on the regular skin and another more basic variation of this character.

Is the Sparkle Skull skin worth it in Fortnite?

Whether or not the Sparkle Skull skin is worth it ultimately comes down to personal preference, but for me, I don’t think it’s really worth getting. There are lots of original Fortnite designs I think are way better are worth the price, but this one just isn’t one of them, especially since it doesn’t come with any alternate styles or accessories.

If you’re still undecided about this skin, you can also take into account the ratings submitted by other players on Fortnite.GG. This skin hasn’t appeared in the shop many times since it was released on Aug. 6, 2021, so it’s a bit of a rare one worth grabbing when you can if it appeals to you. Many players like this skin simply because it’s rare, so if you’re a player who likes collecting skins that don’t return often, this might be one for you.

Sparkle Skull isn’t a bad skin, but there are plenty of other skins and accessories that I think are way more worth spending your V-Bucks on, like the Grogu Back Bling, the Pirates of the Caribbean skins, and the Syd skin.
