Wuthering Waves introduces new 5-star character for version 1.3—and players already planning to skip 1.2 banners

While players eagerly await Wuthering Waves Version 1.2’s launch, Kuro Games has spiced things up by revealing the new five-star character for Version 1.3. The design is so good that it might make players skip the 1.2 banners.

On August 4, Kuro Games posted the design of a new 1.3 five-star unit in Wuthering Waves. The official post reveals that the new five-star character is called The Shorekeeper, and players have already fallen in love with her beautiful design.

The Shorekeeper is known as the leader of the notorious Black Shores organization, and you have already met some of its member, such as Aalto, Camellya, and Encore. The official announcement also teases the lore of this new mysterious Resonator, claiming that The Shorekeeper is a divine being who’s been watching Rover’s every step on their journey so far. While we still don’t know her role in the story, she blew away players with her beautiful design, which might force a lot to skip 1.2 banners.

“Oh she’s gorgeous…we will be skipping Zhezhi and the other twink for her,” one player commented on Wuthering Waves’ X (formerly Twitter) post.

While this shows that players are excited and can’t wait to get their hands on The Shorekeeper, another post by Kuro Games revealed a new four-star Resonator, Youhu, also set to make her debut on The Storekeeper’s banner, so you better start saving your Astrites.
