A third and probably the last teaser image for the Fortnite x Avengers event has been revealed by Epic Games this morning. “Whatever it takes,” the company wrote again.
This teaser image shows a Fortnite male character wearing what seems to be the gauntlets of the Iron Man suit.
The Fortnite x Avengers mashup is coming to the game tomorrow, April 25. Players still have few clues about what’ll be part of the event. All the hints they have are the teaser images that show Fortnite characters using weapons and accessories that the heroes use in Avengers.
This means players will likely be able to somehow use these items in-game, either in a special game mode or as cosmetic items to be available in the Item Shop or through special challenges. Regardless of what that is, a notification on the PlayStation 4 revealed that this special mashup will go on for a bit longer than a week, ending on May 5.
What we know so far about the Fortnite x Avengers mashup is that it likely includes a special Limited Time Mode featuring elements from the Avengers universe, like last year’s event featured the Infinity Gauntlet that let players become Thanos in a special mode and use his abilities to destroy opponents.
All information about the event will be revealed tomorrow, most likely in the v8.50 update patch notes.
