How to get the War Elemental Sigil in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

If you want to avoid stressing about matching attack types to enemy weaknesses in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, aim to get the War Elemental Sigil. This legendary item makes all your attacks hit enemies as if they’re weak against them, giving you a significant boost in damage.

Rolling for the War Elemental Sigil in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

To get the War Elemental Sigil, you need to collect Curios and open them at Zathba’s in Seedhollow, as it may be contained in one of them. When you reveal a Curios, there’s a small chance the War Elemental Sigil will be one of the items listed, and unfortunately for players, that’s the only way of getting it. I estimate I had opened anywhere from 500 to 1,000 Curios in my Granblue Fantasy: Relink save, and I only received three War Elemental Sigils, which shows an extremely low 0.3 to 0.6 percent chance of getting it.

There’s no known way to boost your chances of getting the Sigil. Initially, some players thought Curios from Maniac and Proud difficulties had different drops from those of lower difficulties, but it’s been proven that the source of your Curios doesn’t affect the outcome. Obtaining a War Elemental Sigil is entirely luck-based. Also, there have been no reports of players getting the War Elemental Sigil from Siero’s Transmute and Transmarvel Sigils.

How to farm Curios

To quickly get the War Elemental Sigil, you need to collect many Curios. You can get these by completing any quest from Hard to Proud in the game, but their drop is random. The best way to farm them is to pick a Boss quest you can finish in less than a minute on the highest difficulty possible, which boosts your chances of getting a Curio. So, if you can beat a boss on Maniac in under a minute, it’s more efficient to repeat this than to tackle a Proud quest that takes 10 minutes to complete. You’ll definitely collect Curios faster this way.

If you’re at the endgame stage, like farming Terminus Weapons, try the Maniac levels of the Goblin Warrior or Griffin boss fights to see how fast you can beat them. These bosses are relatively easy to defeat with a well-equipped AI party, allowing for very consistent and quick victories to gather Curios efficiently.
