In a blog post from March 20, one of the WoW devs announced that Dragonflight season two will introduce a new achievement—Dragonflight Season 2 Master. The achievement will be awarded to players that clear Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible on Heroic difficulty, earn 2200 Mythic+ Rating, or 1800 rating in PvP.

After you complete your grind and earn the achievement, you’ll receive a Draconic Mark of Mastery which can then be turned to a vendor for any Heroic-level class set item. This, of course, can only be earned once per character and will become available once Dragonflight season two begins.

According to Blizzard, this will serve as a non-raid method of obtaining a tier set and help the team to test the waters to see what players think about earning relevant power rewards during a single season.

“We’re interested in adding a non-raid method of obtaining a guaranteed set item for those players we mentioned previously. Additionally, we’re interested in testing the waters to see how players feel about being able to earn relevant power rewards for their progress and performance within a given season,” WoW dev explained.

This is still early in testing and therefore prone to changes until Patch 10.1 rolls out on live servers in late May or early June.
