Luna has the honor of being the first Descendant to join The First Descendant after launch. If you want to know the precise steps to unlock her, we’ve got you covered.
Obtaining new Descendants in The First Descendant can be time-consuming if you’re not willing to splash the cash. There are also only limited slots for available Descendants.
Whatever approach you choose to add Luna to your ranks, we’ve got the details you need.
How to get Luna in The First Descendant
Like all the other Descendants, the quickest way to add Luna to your roster of playable Descendants is to purchase her in the shop for 900 Caliber. This immediately unlocks Luna as playable but requires hard currency, paid for with real money.
You can purchase Caliber in The First Descendant in bundles. To get enough to unlock Luna, purchase the 1060 Caliber bundle for $19.99.
Another option is to purchase Luna’s Limited Bundle from the shop, which costs 1,650 Caliber. This bundle includes Luna as a playable Descendant, the Pool Party Head Skin and Body Skin, the Recorder Chest Attachment, and an additional Descendant slot.
You don’t need to spend any money to unlock Luna. You can simply add her to your collection by playing the game and crafting her.
How to craft Luna in The First Descendant
Crafting Luna in The First Descendant requires dedicated grinding to gather all the necessary materials. Four materials are required in total, three of which you need to craft beforehand—which means there’s even more grinding to get the resources needed for them.
Below is a breakdown of all the materials required to craft Luna and how to get them.
Luna Enhanced Cells
- 430x Silicon: Echo Swamp Resource & Munition Boxes
- 554x Carbon Crystal: Hagios Resource & Munition Boxes
- 40x Pure Energy Residue: Fortress Mission Monsters & Encrypted Vaults
- 1x Luna Enhanced Cells Blueprint
As expected, the Luna Enhanced Cells Blueprint is the most difficult to obtain. Two possible drops come from Intercept Battles against the Executioner (Amorphous Material Pattern: 017-Mutant AA) and Pyromanic (Amorphous Material Pattern: 039-Mutant AA). Both have a 37 percent drop chance.
The other option to obtain the Luna Enhanced Cells Blueprint is to complete the Abyssal Void Fusion Reactor in Echo Swamp’s Muskeg Swamp on hard difficulty.
Luna Stabilizer
- 292x Flectorite: White-night Gulch Resource & Munition Boxes
- 303x Hellion: Fortress Resource & Munition Boxes
- 34x Highly-Concentrated Energy Residue: Hagios Mission Monsters & Encrypted Vaults
- 1x Luna Stabilizer Blueprint
There are four potential drop locations for the Luna Stabilizer Blueprint—and only one is available on normal difficulty. Complete the Void Fusion Reactor in Echo Swamp’s Muskeg Swamp for the potential drop on normal difficulty.
Two potential drop locations are from Hard Boss Intercept Battles against Dead Bridge and Gluttony. Both require the Amorphous Material Pattern: 068-Mutant AA and have a 32 percent drop chance.
Finally, the drop is also available as a reward for completing the Abyssal Void Fusion Rector in the White-night Gulch on hard difficulty.
Luna Spiral Catalyst
- 571x Superfluid: Sterile Land Resource & Munition Boxes
- 386x Hardener: Vespers Resource & Munition Boxes
- 46x Specialized Biometal: Hagios Mission Monsters
- 1x Luna Spiral Catalyst Blueprint
There are three potential drop locations for the Luna Spiral Catalyst. The first two are available on normal difficulty through completing the Void Fusion Reactors at Vespers Moonlight Lake and Fortress’ Defense Line.
On hard difficulty, the only drop location is completing the Abyssal Void Fusion Reactor in Vespers Ruins.
Luna Code
Luna Code is a direct drop and does not require crafting. However, expect plenty of grinding as you trust RNG. On normal difficulty, there’s only one potential drop location: the Void Fusion Reactor—Agna Desert The Storage.
On hard difficulty, completing the Agna Desert The Storage Void Fusion Reactor also provides a potential drop of the Luna Code.
Otherwise, head to hard Void Intercept Battles against Swamp Walker and Gluttony. Both require the Amorphous Material Pattern: 0094-Mutant AA and have a 32 percent drop chance.
