PUBG streamer falls victim to spinning car bug after complimenting devs

Positive thinking wasn't enough to make the game work properly.

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds buggies are, well, really buggy. Streamer Wackyjacky101 experienced one of the weirdest glitches of the vehicle when hopping on one during a PUBG match he played live on Twitch.

As soon as he got on the buggy, the vehicle was launched upward and started rotating with his character inside, taking almost half of his health upon landing. What makes this moment unique is that Wackjacky was complimenting the PUBG development team a few seconds before that.

“They’re slowly trying to understand the players, at least the player I know,” Wackjacky said. He was referring to recent changes PUBG developers made to loot in certain areas, which, he said, resonated with the community. When Wackjacky was hit by the bug, all he could do was stare at the camera while waiting for his tragic fall.

Even though Wackyjacky was unlucky to run into this bug, he’s not the first one to say PUBG is getting better for all players. Michael “shroud” Grzesiek also made positive comments about the game when he played Fortnite: Battle Royale, saying that PUBG was now better optimized than its competitor. In another stream, he also said that he’d rather play PUBG than Apex Legends now due to Apex’s lack of content and server issues. He’s been playing the game often on stream since.

A car practicing gymnastics wasn’t enough to make Wackjacky give up on that match or on PUBG during that stream. He pretended it didn’t happen, got off the car. “I need a car,” he said, looking for a new one.
