FACEIT’s PUBG Global Summit played out yesterday with some of the world’s best players battling for a cut of the $400,000 prize pool. There were many great firefights and tactics on display, but one play stood out among the rest this past week.

The play came from Sun “CPT” Yu-Ze, a Chinese player for Four Angry Men. It began as the former League of Legends pro found himself as the last remaining member of his team in a small circle against two other squads. With almost all odds stacked against him, he went for one of the best grenade throws we’ve seen in competitive PUBG.

As CPT crawled behind 17 Gaming, he lined up a perfect frag that took out the entire enemy squad. This left him in an intense one-vs-one against Incognito’s Nathan “Ykikamucoww” Lynham. Ykikamucoww’s teammate, Jesse “Insight” Spencer, was already downed from his battle against 17.

First, CPT finished off Insight in order to prevent a two-vs-one situation, then focused his sights on Ykikamucoww. With a plethora of utility at his disposal from his earlier squad wipe, CPT began to rain down grenades on the Australian player. CPT eventually got his opponent’s health low enough that he could rush out and take the win, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Ultimately, 4AM ended the tournament in seventh place, taking home $17,000. CPT’s heroics were a huge part of their tournament run and should be remembered by many people as one of the best plays in PUBG.
