As a team, they are a very blood thirsty and excels at creating great pressure early game. All three lanes have the leading player statistic with the highest kill (540) and have the lowest average game time with a positive record (36.4). It have shown that every players are all capable in carry a game single handedly. During the regular season, they often are able to accumulate average of 1.2 k gold lead @ 15 minute. With a 71% (1st) of first tower rate, they often snowball their lead into even more objective and teamfight advantages. A lot of success come with their strong lane presence in all their side lanes and enable for Mountain to roam freely and aid all lanes if needed. After generate these advantages, they usually push in aggressive wards and enable Westdoor or Ziv to splitpush

A good portion of Ahq wins was through the aggressive bot lane duo from An and Albis. As AN proof himself to be the most bloodthirsty ADC and the best early game ADC that LMS have to offer.

However a lot of these kills are credit to Mr Albis with good supporting plays and Mountain’s presence on the map, with Albis often aggressive warding and plays it enable the duo to create enormous pressure on the map. Also their execution of laning swaps are superior then all other team in the region by executing aggressive tower dives and fast pushes to generate big gold leads.

LMS vs Worlds

Although they are the most dominate team in the LMS region, they are still coming into the world championship as one of the underdogs, simply because there are major skill difference between Ahq and all other teams in the region, no teams in the region can match Ahq’s early game aggression and stopping Ahq to snowball gold leads. It will be a true test from Ahq when they play against other international teams that are just as aggressive and can match their aggression. In order to make it out of groups they need to make sure that they can keep their dominate pressure in early game because they can crumble if they don’t generate enough leads in the early game. A lot of their wins are from splits push pressure from Ziv and Westdoor after they generate gold lead in the early game, and it can be worrisome for them if they can’t enable the split push or get caught in rotation when they try to set visions for objectives.

Ahq will be a very interesting and exciting team to watch, you can count on them in trying to make big aggressive early plays and make their opponents make hard decisions. They are here to show the worlds that LMS is not the weakest region in the world and they shouldn’t be disregard in the international discussion.
