With over 3.5 million followers and over 79 million views on Twitch, DrLupo is one of the most popular streamers on the platform. He recently signed an exclusivity streaming deal with Twitch alongside Timothy “TimTheTatman” John Betar and Saqib “Lirik” Zahid. In 2018, the streamer raised over $1.3 million for charity partners, which included more than $600,000 for St. Jude during a previous 24-hour live stream. The content creator visited the hospital to play games with patient families, learn about the charity, and answer questions at an event called St. Jude Inspire. He also held a week-long event during the Gaming Community Expo, formerly known as GuardianCon, that benefited the same hospital charity. Content creator management company Loaded will support the charity effort by attempting to secure sponsors and product, therefore maximizing the total donations sent. The talent agency will also make a donation to St. Jude as part of the live stream. Other organizations taking part include global esports organization ReKTGlobal, which DrLupo is currently signed to, and Twitch itself. This is one of the initiatives that DrLupo promised to keep doing after signing a multi-year deal with Twitch. What do you think about this situation?
