Pysonix changes RLCS Fall Major schedule after backlash

On Tuesday, Psyonix revealed the RLCS Fall Major schedule. However, much to the chagrin of the fans, over half of the games would not be streamed on the main channel. After a day of backlash, Psyonix announced that a B-stream has been added in order to broadcast all games. Initially, Psyonix counted on teams to stream their own games during the first three days of the major, meaning that up to four games would happen at once. This made it difficult for fans to catch all the action, while it also meant that some teams might not get a chance to shine on the broadcast at all. This appeared to be an especially sour spot for fans. But, after just a day, Psyonix fulfilled their wishes with the announcement that it will broadcast all games across two streams.

The updated RLCS Fall Major schedule

The RLCS Fall Major schedule remains mostly the same in that the first games on every match day start at 11 a.m. ET. However, days will now run longer — at approximately five to six hours, as opposed to four to five. With a B-stream, it means that every game will be broadcast by Psyonix. Fans will need to have two streams open to catch all the action, but just two games at once is much more manageable than four spread across various channels. Fans immediately praised Psyonix for the quick solution on Twitter and Reddit. After being afraid of missing out on some promising debutants at the first international RLCS LAN in two years, fans can now rest easy. The schedule for Day 1 of the RLCS Fall Major can be found below. The question of when teams play on the following days depends on their results in the Swiss Stage. The RLCS Fall Major runs from Dec. 8-12 in its entirety, with the single-elimination knockout phase going down on Saturday, Dec. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 12.
