Dubs and Stompy own the Fortnite World Cup Week 7

Incredible performances in the Fortnite World Cup Online Opens. Week 7 Solos entertained beyond expectations. A total of 21 more players booked their ticket to New York City for the World Cup Finals. Three new items, Tactical AR, Shadow Bombs, and Combat Shotgun, have shown to be highly effective in the hands of players. The Shadow Bombs are particularly useful for rotations in crowded late games.

The final game determines NA East qualifiers

After a valiant effort, Nate Hill fell just short of qualifying. Shawn “ClarityG” Washington finished on top on the NA East leaderboard in Week 7. ClarityG played incredibly to earn himself a spot at the World Cup Final in New York City. Additionally, Danny “Dubs” Walsh and Turner “Tfue” Tenney continued their dominance of the region. Dubs continued his unbelievable streak of top 6 in every solo competition in addition to qualifying for Duos. It is truly a remarkable run and has to be a favorite to win it all.

A dangerous EU region

Klaus “Stompy” Konstanzer finishes in a qualification spot once again. The gamer from E11 qualified in five out of seven weeks thus far. Stompy has proven to be the top EU player in the Fortnite World Cup through seven weeks. He was not the only player to dominate Week 7 of the Fortnite World Cup. Three players locked in their second qualification spot. Huynh “Kinstaar” Duong Huynh, Yan “Fwexy” Kaur, and “aqua” all qualified for Solos this week after previously qualifying with their respective Duos partners. Fwexy qualified with his Duos partner, Mark “Letw1k3” Danilov, in Week 5. They are now the third pair to qualify in both Duos and Solos.
