Alliance has entered the Hearthstone pool, and they came with a cannonball by signing Jon “Orange” Westberg as their first competitor.
According to a press release from Alliance, the team most known for fielding teams in DOTA 2 and Super Smash Bros. will now add a former Archon star that has two premier and three major victories under his belt.
Orange has only one tournament victory so far this year, as he took home the gold at the ASUS ROG 10th Anniversary Tournament, however, he has yet to place in the top-four in any tournament after that.
Orange left Team Archon earlier this year, citing that he had different directions than the team, which has been leaving behind esports all together in recent months.
To celebrate the acquisition, Orange is hosting a Twitch livestream talking about his recent move and playing Hearthstone. He is also planning to stream more to his viewers, as well as have a vlogging channel that will feature footage from events.
Will Alliance, fresh into the Hearthstone scene, find success with Orange?
