EFC unveils Ultimate Warrior Showdown: PUBG Mobile Asia Invitational with $90,000 prize pool

Teams from across Asia, including China, will be competing in the invitational.

The best PUBG Mobile teams from across Asia will be competing in the $90,000 Ultimate Warrior Showdown: PUBG Mobile Asia Invitational. It will happen from July 5 to 7.

The 16 invited teams are from 14 different countries, namely Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Mainland China, Taiwan, Cambodia, Nepal, Pakistan, Mongolia, and Bangladesh. The complete list of participating teams are as follows:

  • Demigod Incognito (Philippines)
  • Eagle Esports (Vietnam)
  • XB Blood Legion (Bangladesh)
  • PN Crew (Nepal)
  • Stalwart Freestyle (Pakistan)
  • Tong Jia Bao Esports (China)
  • Da Kun Gaming (China)
  • LIT Esports (Taiwan)
  • FaZe Clan (Thailand)
  • The Infinity (Thailand)
  • JoinMe Yellow (Cambodia)
  • Orange Esports (Cambodia)
  • DRS Gaming (Nepal)
  • 7SEA Esports (Nepal)

The teams will play 12 matches (four per day) across the three days to decide the champions. They will happen from 4:30pm to 11:30pm CT between July 5 and 7.

The $90,000 prize pool will be split between the top 12 positions. The champions will pocket $27,000 while the second and third-placed teams will get $18,000 and $9,000, respectively.

The PUBG Mobile Asia Invitational is being organized by the reward-based platform for gaming, Esports Fight Club. The company recently signed a partnership with the Chinese streaming platform Huya. In China, the competition will be exclusively streamed on Huya. Fans from around the world, on the other hand, can tune into the invitational on Esports Fight Club’s Facebook page.
