Which LoL champion says, ‘I thought you’d never pick me’?

Go pick this champion, please.

We’ve had some formidable LoLdle quotes over the last few days, and today’s pretty much fits the bill again, unless you happen to know a thing or two about the depressed League of Legends champions.

If not, you’re in the right place—I have the answer to the Aug. 8 LoLdle quote.

Who says, “I thought you’d never pick me” in LoL?

The LoLdle quote on Aug. 8 is, “I thought you’d never pick me.” The League champion who says this line is Amumu.

Aww, he looks so sad. Screenshot by Dot Esports via LoLdle

With how hard these past few LoLdle quotes have been (especially the Vayne one yesterday) I wasn’t sure how to approach today’s Loldle quote until I read the line.

Once I saw this one, I knew we could narrow things down to one of the two sad and depressed champions in League: Vex and Amumu. The tiebreaker for me came down to the fact Vex seems like more of an aggressive emo, where as Amumu is just plain sad. So, I went with the Sad Mummy (it’s even in the name) and got a one-shot today.

What’s interesting about Amumu’s quote is he says it after he’s picked in champion select. Seeing as he has an 8.1 percent pick rate and a whopping 53.05 percent win rate right now, according to the League stat tracker U.GG, the quote doesn’t actually fit perfectly—the CC-heavy jungler appears in lots of games this season.
