‘Rap god’: Captainflowers shows off skills by casting 2 LoL team fights simultaneously

Could you beat the rap god in a rap battle?

CaptainFlowers continued to prove why he is one of the best casters in the League of Legends space on July 28. The North American caster showed off his rap god skills by casting two fights simultaneously.

The moment occurred last night during week five of the LCS 2024 Summer Split as Team Liquid was taking on Immortals. What started as a fight in the bottom lane quickly turned into chaos, with the squads battling on both sides of the map. The dual-screen view was one of the newer features added to the League esports broadcast, allowing fans to watch the action from all angles.

Fans in both the live chat and Reddit were stunned by Captain Flowers’s high casting skill. “Rap god” popped up in the chat multiple times throughout the fight as Flowers navigated two fights going on at the same time without missing a step. “Flowers is the Faker of casting,” one fan summed up.

It didn’t take long for CaptainFlowers to notice the love he was receiving on Reddit and respond to the post: “I unironically love these moments in-game. They’re rare, but they really test your casting mechanics and focus. It’s like the Dark Souls boss of casting.” One Dark Souls player responded, “If that was a Dark Souls boss, you just did it hitless. GOAT performance.”

Recognized as one of the best casters in the LoL space, Flowers has cast at multiple major international events, including the 2022 LoL World Championship finals. CaptainFlowers casts at an extremely fast pace while hitting every queue in terms of champions, abilities, and cooldowns. Flowers is associated with the term “rap god.” To embrace this skill, Flowers has featured in LoL rap battles, most notably Rap Rivals—an NA vs. EU showdown featuring himself and LEC caster Daniel “Drakos” Drakos.
