Early Palia Patch 0.183 notes: searchable inventory, Potato Pods, and new outfit

A highly requested feature is finally coming.

Palia patch 0.183 is releasing on Aug. 27, and will bring one of the most requested quality-of-life features made by Palians as well as smaller additions. The Sunset Soiree upgrade will shake up how you search, build, and decorate.

Decor and building changes

After the Summer Serenade update (0.182), Singularity 6 saw how players dedicated themselves to decorating their houses and could easily reach the decor limitation. In the latest dev blog, they announced that there won’t be a limit to Building Blocks and they will be included in the overall decor limit, and the flower limit will be increased from 500 to 1,000 flowers you can place in your plot.

Another change to the building system is the Decor Limit Tracker, which will be visible on the UI while you are building. It will be at the top right corner of the screen with the other information about your plot under the Plot Value indicator.

Storage and workbench search option

Players will be able to search for specific items in their storage chests and the Worktable. Considering you can store up to 10,000 items in chests along with the numerous tools and crafters you can make in the workbench, it can get hard to find exactly what you are looking for just by scrolling through the items. The search function will make finding what you need much easier.

Potato Pods

Potato Pods are the new collectable plushies coming with the Patch 0.183. Singularity 6 didn’t specify how many there are outside of “a significant number,” and that players will be able to get a random Potato Pod “periodically.”

This plushie will be used in a future trading system so players can get the ones they don’t have yet from other players. The trading system won’t be added with this update, however, and the devs already said the system won’t be exclusive to this plushie.

Wild Howl outfit

The new outfit coming with the Sunset Soiree upgrade is Wild Howl. The devs designed this outfit with a more masculine vibe, but players from all genders can wear it. The artwork in the dev blog presents a raccoon and fox-themed outfit, but in the trailer it resembles a wolf, and we can see some special effects coming from the eyes in one scene.

Singularity 6 is also adding the Lily Rattan Furniture, more Chapaa Huntable Plushes, and a new pet, which will be available for purchase in the Premium Shop. We can also expect new cosmetics in the Premium Shop and several adjustments and bug fixes with the 0.183 patch.
