Team Vitality CS2 lock in massive 7-figure deal with Stake

The Hive welcome the global betting giant.

Team Vitality have unveiled a significant multi-year partnership with Stake, a major player in the global betting and gaming industry.

As part of the “seven-figure” deal, Stake becomes the official international partner of Team Vitality’s CS2 roster, recognized as the best squad in the world right now. This collaboration is more than just financial, as it promises an extensive mix of exclusive content, high-impact marketing activations, and prominent branding opportunities.

Fans have already caught a glimpse of the partnership in action at IEM Cologne 2025, one of Counter-Strike’s most iconic tournaments, where Vitality are wearing their brand new jersey featuring Stake’s logo.

With this partnership, Team Vitality join the likes of global sports entities in Formula 1, MMA, and football, organizations that have already forged relationships with Stake. The deal marks a continued push toward mainstream sports legitimacy for the esports industry.

“It reflects the success of our ambition to establish Team Vitality as a leading global esports brand, alongside the biggest names in their respective industries. At a defining point in our Counter-Strike journey, this collaboration will allow us to create innovative experiences, offer exclusive content around our team, and support our CS2 roster as it reaches new competitive heights,” Team Vitality CEO Vas Roberts said.

Vitality have dominated this year’s professional CS2 scene so far, capturing seven championship titles, including the ESL Grand Slam and Austin Major trophies. The team’s rise as a global powerhouse mirrors Stake’s own aggressive expansion across international sports, entertainment, and betting.

“This collaboration adds esports to our globally renowned portfolio of sports and entertainment partnerships, with Team Vitality representing exactly the caliber of world-class partner we seek as we enter the esports arena,” Stake’s Chief Marketing Officer Akhil Sarin said.

The partnership is already being showcased at IEM Cologne, hosted at the iconic Lanxess Arena, known as the “Cathedral of Counter-Strike.” Drawing over a million viewers in its 2024 edition, the tournament offers a prime opportunity for Vitality and Stake to spotlight their collaboration on a global platform.

Stake’s branding has already appeared prominently on digital platforms of Team Vitality CS, as well as on on the front and left collarbone of the CS2 team’s jerseys. Beyond visibility, the brands plan to co-develop premium content and fan-centric activations, providing deeper access to the team and its star players throughout the year.

Stake is a prominent online betting platform known for its cryptocurrency-based sportsbook and casino offerings. Launched in 2017, the site has rapidly grown into a global player in the gaming industry, offering a wide range of betting options including sports, esports, live casino games, and slots.
