At next year’s ICE Barcelona in 2026, the B2B sportsbook supplier BETBY has confirmed that the trio of Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, and Levy Rozman, also known as GothamChess, will be making a joint appearance in Europe.
The five-time World Champion Carlsen is also BETBY’s global brand ambassador, and he will be joined by Nakamura, who is the current world number two and a five-time US Champion. In addition to them, GothamChess is recognized as one of the most influential voices in the sport, boasting a massive global streaming audience.
The event will feature a live press conference and special exhibition matches, showcasing Carlsen, Nakamura, and Rozman. All of them will join BETBY at 12:00 pm, January 20, which is the ICE Barcelona’s second day, at stand 5K20 in Fira Barcelona Gran Via, where the fans will get a chance to interact with the Chess legends.
The event follows the ongoing partnership between BETBY and Carlsen through the company’s campaign Leaders Choose Leaders. The presence of three of the most prominent figures in the sport reflects the shared drive for innovation and strategic excellence that continues to shape the rise of chess as a mainstream entertainment force.
