You play as the police officer Sam Green investigating the disappearance of a child in Cedar Hills Steel Mill. You get to explore a bit of the area in the prologue and get a taste of the gameplay mechanics such as some dialogue choices and skills checks similar to the Dead by Daylight generator mechanic.

It sets the mood for what’s to come in the full release on Sept. 3, when a group of friends decide to make a horror movie where the demo takes place. The full game will have features such as the Cutting Room Floor, Twitch Integration, Plunderer’s Instinct, the 8MM Camera and Couch Co-op.
