The Witcher Twitter account recently teased an announcement involving Geralt yesterday, with many fans speculating what the announcement could be.

Geralt will utilize his signature Witcher fighting style in the game with a combination of swordplay, ability-enhancing potions, and combat magic. Geralt possesses superhuman reflexes and strength that will allow him to fight against the best that SOULCALIBUR has to offer.

“We’ve collaborated with Bandai Namco artists to faithfully recreate Geralt, and shared original Witcher 3 assets like Geralt’s model, animations, and weapons.” Marcin Momot, community lead at CD PROJEKT RED, said in the announcement. “I think Bandai Namco did an outstanding job of capturing all the details and introducing The Witcher to SOULCALIBUR in a way fans of both series will enjoy.”

Doug Cockle, the English voice of Geralt, will reprise his role in the game. Players will also be able to fight in a Witcher themed stage, Kaer Morhen, witch is the home keep of the School of the Wolf. The stage will be accompanied by music from the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt soundtrack.

The character will be available in all versions of the game, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
