Newest 2XKO fighter is a LoL champ who uses his shield as his sword

Slam the door shut on your opponents.

Another League of Legends champion has finally been announced for Riot Games’ upcoming fighting game, 2XKO, and they’re bringing a ton of beef and a massive door to boot.

Braum is the next League champion to join 2XKO‘s ever-expanding roster of playable characters, bringing a reliable front line brawler who is not only the Heart of the Freljord, but will be the heart of your team composition as well.

In the brief gameplay trailer, Braum can be seen defending Illaoi from Darius’ incoming axe, brandishing his massive shield. He swings this hulking door around as a devastating melee weapon, can rush his enemies with ease, and even has a special move where he surfs atop his shield while dragging his foe underneath.

Braum doesn’t seem like the fastest character, especially when compared to Ahri or Ekko, but it looks like he can soak up a ton of damage, showing that anyone else “hits like baby ram.” He even has a little freeze mechanic to keep his enemies in place while he sets up for another move to decimate.

He can also summon his trusty poro pals to deal some damage in a fight, whether they’re jumping in with a massive hammer or rolling in as a massive ball of fluff to punch, kick, and essentially jump his enemies. It’s a hilarious finisher that ends with Braum throwing one final poro at his opponent, and finishes them as the poro headbutts them to the defeat screen.

You’ll be able to try out Braum and the rest of 2XKO‘s diverse lineup of champions when the game’s upcoming online Alpha Lab kicks off this summer—but don’t forget to sign up first.
