Family Guy’s Peter Griffin joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate thanks to this fan-made mod

What will modders think of next?

One talented modder has gone above and beyond the call of duty to add Family Guy’s Peter Griffin into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The mod was made by Game Banana member Kalomaze, who has also created a bunch of other nifty modifications for the game like this.

Modding in Smash Bros. games is nothing new, with many creators using their talents to bring characters into the titles that would otherwise never officially appear, such as Goku from Dragon Ball Z.

Kalomaze decided to use King K. Rool as the base fighter for Peter Griffin’s character model. The mod uses most of the same animations from the original character, too—Peter throws King K. Rool’s crown and uses the pirate hat and gun like the normal character would.

Regardless, this is a nifty creation that gives anyone who enjoys Family Guy a chance to use a character from the series in the game—let’s face it, there’s no way he’s actually joining the Smash Bros. roster anytime soon.
