Building off of the more than 120 online tournaments being run as part of Evo 2021 Online, the new Evo 2021 Showcase will bring together the best fighting game players from around the world to compete in-person at an Evo event for the first time since Evo 2019.

The Evo 2021 Showcase Tournament of Champions will run on Nov. 27 and 28 in Las Vegas at the UFC APEX sports complex, featuring the top players from each regional tournament run during Evo 2021 Online and $125,000 in total prizing.

Since the event is using results from Evo Online, spots in each game will be invite-only. The top players from each game will be flown out by the Evo team to compete.

Each of the five games will have two champions traveling from participating regions, including North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia, meaning a total of 40 players will be competing in the event. The prize pool for the entire event is $125,000, being evenly split to $25,000 per game.
